At what point do you move from being an individual engaged with a group of other individuals into becoming a member of the team? How do you move out of individual action and reaction to functioning as part of a whole?
Most challenges in our life happen in relationship: relationship with ourselves as well as others. In team development, we learn to function with others in such a way that we collectively embrace whatever arises from moment to moment. In a team, when it really works, we learn to act, respond in ways that bring all the individuals, the agendas, the plans and execution of those plans into a unified whole so that we persistently move as one, embracing all of our differences and similarities.
